M-Power Gearing Up for Legapalooza 2018

The annual Legapalooza fundraiser benefiting the Dallas Amputee Network (DAN) is set for June 3 in Dallas, and the entire M-Power team will be there to continue helping amputees Find Their Independence!

Legapalooza is a one-of-kind experience that features a full day of live music, local food vendors, prize raffles, and more. The event’s live and silent auctions include an impressive array of unique sports and entertainment memorabilia, gift certificates from some of Dallas’ top restaurants and retailers, and more goodies for people of all ages.

M-Power is an original sponsor of Legapalooza, which will mark its ninth year as DAN’s largest fundraiser. Over the years, Legapalooza founder and M-Power client Tommy Donahue has worked with a dedicated team of volunteers and thousands of supporters to raise more than $200,000 to help fund DAN’s many beneficial programs for amputees.

The nation’s largest independent amputee support group, DAN has sent more members to the annual Amputee Coalition of America National Conference than any other group in the country, based in large part on the money raised by Legapalooza. In addition to its many other programs, DAN also provides a 24-hour hotline for organizing visits from Amputee Coalition-certified peer visitors with amputees, candidates for amputation, and their families during what can be one of the most trying times of their lives.

“M-Power is extremely proud to be an original sponsor of Legapalooza,” says founder and managing partner Amy Mehary. “We are all looking forward to seeing many of our clients and other amputees for a great day of fun and fundraising.”

Legapalooza will start at noon on Sunday, June 3, at Milo Butterfingers (5645 SMU Boulevard) near the SMU campus. Join Amy and all of us at M-Power for great food and great times while supporting one of the most important yearly efforts to help local amputees.
